This department spreads the scientific and technical information among researchers, students and different users of the Park structures. It divulge all the news relating to the activities/ achievements of Tunisian and foreign academic community and researchers. Moreover, it facilitates research, student and technical staff access to any general documentation within the Central Library. This department is indeed in charge of:
- up-dating the BC-STP homepage,
- facilitating the different Park competencies access to the National Information Service on Scientific Research and Technology (SNIREST),
- Setting scientific and technical data bases as well as links with national and international data bases,
- Informing researchers of the new web reviews in their even specialties,
- Informing researchers of national and international scientific events relating to the Park specialties,
- spreading the current general information,
- the documentation relating to Tunisian ministries (classified by ministry and by institution),
- the documentation
relating to every foreign country (classified by content, country groups),
- the documentation relating to the UN agencies(classified by agency), and to national and international organisations,
- the documentation to national and international scientific organisations ( classified by organisation).

It provides the inventory and management of the dealt with books relating to the Park Central Library.
It ensures adhering and management of the journals accessible to the Park Central Library.
Its mission is to receive, classify and provide researchers with all scientific and technical documentation available in the Park.
It is as well
reponsible for the keeping of every technical and scientific documentation relating to the Park structures:
Year production and communications,
Year scientific and technical reports,
Year activity review,
Year Theses, Masters, memoirs,
Year mission and traning reports,
Other documents relating to the Park Structures.
